My name is Paden Cook-Zimmerman. My husband, Thomas and I started hiking together in November of 2021, after we spent our honeymoon watching all of the hikers explore the Grand Canyon.

We live in the Arkansas River Valley and love to chase waterfalls. So far, we have located over 40 waterfalls in the Ozark Mountains. Our adventures have ranged from easy, short hikes on developed trails to long, difficult bushwhacks deep within the national forest.

We have recently starting gathering supplies and researching overnight backpacking, in hopes of spending some extended periods of time on the Ozark Highlands Trail. Check out my "Hiking 101" page to learn more about our gear and supplies we use while hiking. 

Our adventures are inspired by Arkansas legends including, Tim Ernst, Rick Henry and Gez Rogers. 

It is my dream to share the many stories and pictures about our adventures, in hopes of inspiring others to get out and explore the beauty of our state.
